8/19/07:
Thousands of people wrapped their arms
around Pastor Ed, Joshua, Tyler and Kayla tonight to love and comfort
them. Visitation lasted until after 10 pm and it was a sweet time for
the body of Christ to lift up the family and love one another.

8/16/07 6:00 PM: The church body of First Baptist North Mobile is
sad to announce that Tammy Litton was killed in a car accident Thursday
afternoon. We ask the the church body and extended church family
to pray for Pastor Ed and our church as we trust God in this difficult time.
Kayla was injured in the accident but is expected to recover. More details regarding arrangements and needs will be posted as they
become available. Thank you in advance for your prayers.
8/16/07 4:36 PM In his book, "If You Will Ask", Oswald
Chambers said, "When a man is in real distress he prays without reasoning;
he does not think things out, he simply spurts it out." Sometimes our most
effective praying happens on the spur of the moment when life unexpectedly
throws a curve at us. When we don't have time to do or be anything but
honest, God is there, listening, loving, and waiting to answer in ways we
never thought possible.
At 4:00 pm we received word that Tammy and Kayla Litton were involved in a
serious automobile accident. Though this caught everyone off guard, God
was not asleep, or unaware of who or what was happening. Further details
are not known at this time, but we call upon you, God's people to pray.
He is still the God who knows, loves and cares. |
