Membership

To join First Baptist North Mobile simply come forward during the invitation and make your desire to join North Mobile known to one of the Pastors who will help you begin the membership process.

You may join North Mobile in one of the following ways:

1. Profession of Faith and Baptism – You are coming for membership and have recently prayed to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, or would like to know how to make Jesus Lord and Savior of your life, and desire to follow Christ in believer’s Baptism.

2. Statement of Faith – You are coming for membership and you have received Christ as Lord and Savior and have followed him in believer’s Baptism, but are coming from a non-Southern Baptist Church, but one of like faith and doctrine.

3. Transfer of Membership – You are coming for membership from another Southern Baptist Church.

4. Student Membership – You are a student attending a local college looking for a church home away from home. Become a member without moving your membership from your home church.

We also ask all of our new members to attend Starting Point. Along with dinner you will learn what it means to be a member of North Mobile, what we believe, and why God has us in this place at this time. You will also have an opportunity to meet our pastors and learn how their ministries contribute to the purpose of North Mobile. The next dinner is scheduled for Thursday, May 13 2010 at 6:00 pm.
